Erik Norlander is a producer, keyboardist, sound designer, instrument designer, and songwriter from California. He currently lives in Asheville, North Carolina, with his vocalist wife, Lana Lane, and trusty dog, Fletcher. Erik has co-designed analog hardware synths including the legendary Alesis Andromea, Moog Messenger, and IK Multimedia UNO Synths, software instruments such as IK Multimedia Syntronik, Hammond B-3X, SampleTank 4, and SampleTron 2 along with several UJAM Usynth titles including Caramel (the debut!) and Deluxe and Akai's Studio Instrument Collection. With over 50 music albums to his credit, Erik has recorded and performed with his own solo project, his prog rock band, Rocket Scientists, his vocalist wife, Lana Lane, ASIA Featuring John Payne, Dukes of the Orient, Last in Line (original Dio band), and legendary artists including Buck Dharma, Joe Lynn Turner, Glenn Hughes, Vivian Campbell, Jimmy Bain, Tony Franklin, Greg Bissonette, Vinny and Carmine Appice, and many others. Erik is also a highly active member of the Bob Moog Foundation Board of Advisors.
